EngageRocket PeopleFirst 2020

hrtech.sg is the KNOWLEDGE PARTNER for EngageRocket PeopleFirst 2020: REIMAGINE, RECOVER, REBUILD event

Oct 22, 2020 5 PM - 5 PM

The current pandemic has been called the “crisis of a generation”, and has forced employers, leaders and their teams to rethink how work is organised.

As a result, companies have accelerated the use of technology and agile frameworks by five years. HR, business leaders and managers will have to leverage HR technology to optimise new ways to help people Belong, Grow and Perform for a sustainable future.

The event focused on two tracks:

Track 1: Reimagine the Employee Experience

To successfully lead this transition, HR, supervisors and managers have a critical role to play. The responsibilities of the leader have not changed - it is how they lead teams that has changed.

Leadership Conversation: Reimagine Employee Experience - A conversation with Evangeline Chua, Chief People Officer at GovTech Singapore and Catherine Chia, Chief HR Officer at Starhub.

Panel: Reimagining Employee Experience - A discussion with Wei-Ling Poon Patricia (People Development Learning Institute, Asia & TWHK, at Sanofi), Benjamin Festin (Org Design & Change Partner SEA and L&D Lead for SSC SG & MY at Dairy Farm Group), Sherwin Siregar (SVP & Head, Distribution Business Management at Prudential) and moderated by Su-Yen Wong, CEO and founder at Bronze Phoenix.

Track 2: Thrive in a Sustainable Future

By keeping a close watch on organisational health, companies can respond effectively to this evolving situation. Leaders can embark on deliberate actions to build and enhance resilience. This will not only aid in recovery but will also reimagine the organisation as a more sustainable and agile entity.

Leadership Conversation: Developing high-performance work teams to thrive in a sustainable future  - A conversation with Nanang Chalid, Vice President, People at Tokopedia and Praise Mok, Deputy CEO at Rohei.

Panel: Developing high-performance work teams to thrive in a sustainable future - A discussion with Tan Yen Yen (Director, School of Business, at Singapore Polytechnic), Calvin Yeo (Head of Commercial Real Estate at Knight Frank), Alvin Goh (Executive Director at SHRI) and moderated by Terence Quek, CEO, Asia Pacific at Emergenetics.
